Casad Services: UF-RO Plant BIM Modeling, Industrial Water Treatment BIM
Project Overview Ultrafiltration (UF) & Reverse Osmosis (RO) Plant | Ahmedabad, Gujarat
CASAD delivered high-precision LOD 400 BIM modeling and MEP coordination services for an industrial Ultrafiltration (UF) and Reverse Osmosis (RO) water treatment plant in Ahmedabad. Utilizing Autodesk Revit and Navisworks, the team integrated complex piping, skid-mounted vendor equipment, and advanced instrumentation into a fully coordinated, clash-free digital model to streamline pre-fabrication and eliminate field rework.
Casad's Scope of Work
LOD 400 BIM Modeling & Detailing: Authored detailed 3D BIM models in Autodesk Revit for UF–RO membrane systems, process piping networks, and chemical treatment skids to fabrication-ready standards.
Vendor Equipment Alignment & Integration: Accurately matched and integrated vendor-supplied pump models and skid equipment into the master layout, resolving mounting and connection discrepancies prior to procurement.
Precision Instrumentation Modeling: Modeled all process instrumentation components—including pressure gauges, electromagnetic flow meters, control valves, and sensors—to LOD 400 specifications for exact spatial clearance.
Clash Detection & Multi-Discipline Coordination: Performed rigorous clash resolution in Navisworks between structural frames, process piping, electrical trays, and mechanical instrumentation to ensure zero site clashes.
Capabilities in Action
Advanced Process Piping & Skid Integration: Proven expertise in modeling high-density process treatment systems (UF/RO membranes) with precise alignment between shop-fabricated skids and civil infrastructure.
Vendor-Model Reconciliation: Ability to seamlessly incorporate external vendor component models into standard BIM workflows, preventing costly spatial misalignment and field modifications.
Instrumentation & Controls Coordination: Specialized capability in modeling fine-grained MEP/I&C components to high LOD levels, ensuring unobstructed access for operation, maintenance, and sensor reading.
