Project Overview This strategic project involves the construction of the Gati Shakti Multi Modal Cargo Terminal (GCT) at Rafaleshwar, complete with rail connectivity from Makansar Station near Morby. Located in the Rajkot Division of Western Railway, this crucial infrastructure development by GRIDE aims to establish a robust logistics hub. With a project cost of 190.52 Crore, the GCT will enhance freight movement efficiency, reduce logistics costs, and support regional industrial growth by integrating rail connectivity into a multi-modal transport network.

Casad's Scope of Work Our involvement in this project was as a Proof Checking Consultant, focusing on ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and safety of the designs for the critical bridge structures.

• Proof Checking Consultancy: Serving as the designated Proof Checking Consultant for the project, providing independent verification and validation of engineering designs.

• Hydraulic Reports Review: Thoroughly checking the hydraulic reports to ensure that the proposed bridge designs adequately account for water flow, drainage, and flood management, especially for structures over waterways.

• General Arrangement Drawing (GAD) Verification: Meticulously checking the General Arrangement Drawings (GADs) for all 4 Minor and 2 Major Bridges, ensuring that the overall layout, dimensions, and component placements are accurate and aligned with project requirements.

• Detailed Design Drawing Review: Conducting a comprehensive review of the Detailed Design Drawings for all minor bridges, verifying structural integrity, material specifications, and construction methodologies.
