Project Overview This significant infrastructure project involved the construction of the Income Tax Flyover at the bustling Income Tax Circle in Ahmedabad. With a project cost of 132 Crores, the primary goal was to alleviate severe traffic congestion in one of the city's key intersections. The flyover's design focused on providing a smooth and efficient bypass for traffic, significantly improving urban mobility and reducing travel times for daily commuters in Ahmedabad.
Casad's Scope of Work Our involvement in the Income Tax Flyover project encompassed critical phases of construction, focusing on delivering a high-quality and durable structure.
Foundation & Substructure Construction: Execution of pile foundations and the PSC pier cap substructure, ensuring a strong base for the flyover.
Superstructure Erection: Installation of both the PSC voided slab spans and the 45.0-meter composite superstructure span, adhering to precise engineering specifications.
Quality Assurance: Implementing stringent quality control measures throughout all construction phases, from material selection to final finishes, to ensure the longevity and safety of the flyover.
Traffic Management Integration: Ensuring the flyover seamlessly integrates with the existing road network, contributing to efficient traffic flow and minimal disruption during and after construction.
