Project Overview This critical national highway project involves the upgradation of the Sarkhej-Changodar section of NH-8A (now designated NH-47) to a Six Lane configuration with paved shoulders. The primary goal is to significantly enhance road capacity, improve traffic flow, and boost safety along this vital corridor, which serves as a key economic and strategic link. The project includes a substantial elevated flyover and numerous bridge structures to ensure seamless movement across the entire section.


Casad's Scope of Work The mandate involves comprehensive and disciplined oversight to ensure the successful delivery of this national highway project under a joint venture (JV) arrangement. The scope of work includes:

  • Overall Project Management: Leading the execution from planning to completion.

  • Daily Supervision: Providing on-site supervision to monitor construction quality and progress.

  • Quality Assurance (QA) & Quality Control (QC): Implementing stringent quality control checks for materials and workmanship across all six-lane components, flyovers, and bridges.

  • Progress Monitoring: Tracking physical and financial progress against the project schedule.

  • Periodic Reporting: Generating accurate and timely reports for the National Highway Division.

  • Cost Control: Managing project expenses to ensure adherence to the 252.21 Cr. budget.

  • Alignment: Ensuring that all project activities align with contractual obligations, technical specifications, and delivery timelines.
